Mission
A prerequisite for the creation of a multi-profile surgical clinic “Medical Club” has become
the formation in our country of an aware popularity of the plastic surgery. Awareness means not a blind
chasing for certain standards or fashion, but a thoughtful attitude towards own appearance, life quality.
Gradually, people have come to understanding that they are able to harmonize their relationships with the
world, correct the demerits and emphasize the merits. In response to patients’ wishes, a clinic
should have been appeared, which would be ready to prove practically that the outer and inner worlds are
tightly connected with each other, that a face and a body is a mystery to be opened individually, and that
happiness may be governed.
Taking into account the market trends and demands, A. L. Kharkov, M.D., the highest category surgeon,
Full Member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Association of Plastic
Surgeons, has initiated the idea of establishing a multi-profile clinic, and this idea has been soon
successively realized by him and his like-minded colleagues. In due time, the «Medical Club»
clinic has occupied the proper place in that sector of rendering medical services, which is called for
serving to the beauty and health.
The implementation of such an idea into life implies, first of all, the right attitude towards the notion
of a “quality service” aimed at a “satisfied patient”. At our clinic, the
psychological comfort and operative clinical problem solution are the integral component parts of medical
servicing.
On this basis, the new approach has been was formulated, and the basic principles and specific features
of the clinic’s work have been defined, where a patient is not a client but a person who needs
medical aid, attention and good attitude. It has appeared that there is the necessity to take into
consideration a tense rhythm of a megapolis life and a patient’s busy working schedule. Therefore
the clinic’s interior, gastronomic restaurant and guarded parking lot, resemble rather a hotel with
comfortable single rooms, than a hospital. All these create a warm, cozy atmosphere of amicability and a
genuine human sympathy. The main goal, however, still remains provision of a patient with operative and
qualified medical aid that will result in improving the quality of his/her life and health.
The multi-profile character of the clinic’s activities is dictated by the desire to help a patient
in realization of this task. Only a comprehensive approach and thorough study of anamnesis and patient
health condition with the use laboratory and instrumental methods, enable us to determine the degree of
organic and functional impairments of organs and systems and consequently, the measures of targeted
correction thereof. The combination of efforts by plastic, esthetic and reconstructive surgeries, family
medicine, diagnostics, anesthesiology, intensive therapy, gynecology, cosmetology and laser therapy mare
it possible, firstly, to offer to a patient, a complex product thereby using a synergic effect of their
interaction and, secondly, to present at the qualitatively new European level the lines of plastic,
esthetic and reconstructive surgeries that are the nucleus of “Medical Club” activities.
Our motto is “Virtutem forma decorat” – “The beauty decorates
the virtue”. This reflects our aspiration to emphasize all the wonderful in a man, improve his
